Voyage now holds a leading position among media dedicated to discovery and leisure. Received by 7 million people, the channel is at the forefront of documentary channels (MédiaCabSat February 2002): 1st in documentary channels among the "4 years and over" and the "15 years and over" viewers; 4th leading channel for all categories among Canal-Satellite subscribers "15 years and over" (excluding optional channels).
This success is the result of the channel's strict quality control policy implemented over six years.Since its beginnings, Voyage has developed both in-house production and co-production of original documentaries. The channel has also enriched its programming with service and advice programs to accompany viewers in their travels around the globe.
In 2001, three new weekly programs of this type debuted: Tribu Nomade, Voyage Info and Chacun son Monde, which has become one of the channel's most popular programs.
